| Sunlight Mountain Resort is a ski area in Colorado, just minutes south of Glenwood Springs and 1 hour from Aspen and Vail. The ski area offers something for everyone: from the never-ever skier or boarder to the rainbow rail rider. Sunlight is a family-friendly and affordable ski area; close enough for a day trip and affordable enough for an overnight stay. This Colorado ski resort also offers 29 kilometers of groomed cross country and snowshoe trails. Beginning, intermediate and advanced trails wind their way through a gorgeous high valley, flanked by Sunlight Mountain and the 10,300 foot Williams Peak. Cross Country and Snowshoe rentals are available at the Sunlight Mountain Ski and Bike shop as well as in the on-mountain rental shop. Snowmobile riders will experience the beauty and thrill of riding through the White River National Forest. The scenery includes breathtaking views of Mt. Sopris, the West Elk Mountains and faraway Flattops. |
